Life is messy.
There are a million things that are out of your control, and they won’t always go your way. So when you find that you do have control over something, own it. Figure out your priorities and make the decisions that will make you happiest. You can’t rely on dumb luck, but you should be able to lie down at the end of each day, content that you’ve given it your all, and let fate do what it will.
Katy and I are very similar sometimes.
